New Offerings

In an effort to level up my skills, so I can help you look better, feel better, age better, and be better, I have been studying! In March, I attended my first ever Kripalu retreat. There I studied with the Ida Rolf disciple, Thomas Myers, learning about the movement principles of the fascia system of the body and how to “read” dysfunction in a person’s posture. This Thursday, I start a 10-week online Fascial Fitness Trainer certification program with Robert Schleip, the preeminent expert in Europe. I will study how best to train to keep the fascial system youthful and healthy: springy, resilient, pain free, mobile, and quick.

Our Anatomy Trains class at Kripalu with Tom Myers, fifth from R.

To apply this new training for longevity, I am looking for a couple of people interested in incorporating this new paradigm into their yoga practice or current training regimen. I will gladly offer anyone a free consultation to see if my program is a good fit for you.

Starting on Wednesdays in June, I’ll offer a four-class workshop in Breath Control and Guided Meditation. The fee is $60, and will be held at Woodstock Aikido from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Please see the complete description here.

Yoga classes are going well. Group classes, on Mondays and Thursdays, for the Senior Recreation Program in Woodstock continue to grow. My online class with the non-profit MVP Health Care is popular; we’re going to record some 15-minute mini-classes for anyone to access. I’m excited! See my complete schedule here.

My own training in Aikido is going well. Feeling faster and more tuned in to my energy as I focus more on healing my own fascial system. My Reiki practice is benefitting, too.
